DeviantART is the home for where art meets aplication. Adding DeviantART will not only let the user check there inbox, post areas, when one of your submissions has been favourited etc, but it will be great advertiseing space as this would give a huge kick start, and possibly millions of more people using the program.

Imagine this. A buddy of yours is almost never online and the message you want to get to them doesn't warrant a phone call or a text message...so you think that you'll just IM them instead. Yet they aren't online. Ever. A pounce message will send them a message as soon as they sign on next. Very helpful.

Add the option to change the size of the notification pop-ups to a smaller box with smaller font so that they take up less screen space.

In some other clients, /away and /status are used to change away and status messages. For example, if I am talking to somebody and need to quickly go away, I just type "/away eating brb" into a conversation window and send it, my away message goes up with "eating brb". If I want to change my status, "/status bored" would change my status to "bored".

Sometimes, a buddy will send me a message and by the time I respond, they will have already signed off on their computer and gone mobile. Then, when I send a message, it gets sent to their mobile device. It's usually something like "haha" or "ok" and it's a waste of a text message.

It'd be nice to view the URL of the link someone is sending you before you click on it. Either pop up a tooltip with the URL on cursor hover, or on mouse right-click.

The ability to choose between different URL-Shortening Services for Twitter. The forum topic has a very nice mock-up of how this could be done!

The search log feature is pretty useless if you can only search on the day you are looking on. A full log search either of all logs or all logs of the contact that has been currently selected in the log viewer would put a lot of us former trillian and even aim 6 users at home with digsby.

Ability to only show an email icon in the system tray if there are unread messages.

With the AIM program there is a plug-in that would automatically set my status to away when the computer was locked. It would be nice to get that over here on Digsby.

Digsby already has an email notification sound but how about adding the option to customize this sound for different accounts? For example: I have 2 different POP3 accounts. Account "A" is my business account. Account "B" is my personal account. I want sound "A" to play when account "A" receives a message. I want sound "B" to play when account "B" receives a message.

Please add support for OTR or some compatible encryption mechanism. This will be especially helpful for those of us using wireless networks.

Enable logging for digsby widget

It would be nice and convenient if we could star gmail messages from the hover over menu already present in digsby's interface.

Similar to how we can mark a message as read- starring one from the interface would add additional functionality quickly.
