Include the ability to define your own keyboard shortcuts within chat windows. (i.e. --- ctrl + enter to send messages rather than the default of enter.. Also, allow to bind a shortcut key (such as enter) for new lines within a message window.

I would like to see if Digsby can support Novell GroupWise Messenger. Pidgin currently supports it and it's the only thing that is stopping me from using digsby fully.

Imagine this. A buddy of yours is almost never online and the message you want to get to them doesn't warrant a phone call or a text message...so you think that you'll just IM them instead. Yet they aren't online. Ever. A pounce message will send them a message as soon as they sign on next. Very helpful.

for those of us that use windows media player and the playlists that come with it. I'm not and will never be an iTunes user and i have had winamp and it is nice for the sole reason of flac support but I have not found a way to get the music list to work as well as the one in WMP.

In some other clients, /away and /status are used to change away and status messages. For example, if I am talking to somebody and need to quickly go away, I just type "/away eating brb" into a conversation window and send it, my away message goes up with "eating brb". If I want to change my status, "/status bored" would change my status to "bored".

Please ad a option to have separate profiles for each account...

In other clients like Adium and Pidgin to be able to set profiles and status different on each and every account is something that is "essential" for most people running multiple accounts.

There are many people running two or more IM-accounts that is not to be unified...

Sometimes, a buddy will send me a message and by the time I respond, they will have already signed off on their computer and gone mobile. Then, when I send a message, it gets sent to their mobile device. It's usually something like "haha" or "ok" and it's a waste of a text message.

Make it easier to set different accounts to different statuses -- allow to set status e.g. from the Tools -> [account] menu.

Ability to right-click on a contact and select "Alert Me When..." and instead of bringing up the notification settings that apply to EVERY user, it would bring up notification settings that apply to that ONE user.

The settings that apply to every user should still be accessible from Tools > Preferences > Notifications.

Please add support for OTR or some compatible encryption mechanism. This will be especially helpful for those of us using wireless networks.
