Include the ability to define your own keyboard shortcuts within chat windows. (i.e. --- ctrl + enter to send messages rather than the default of enter.. Also, allow to bind a shortcut key (such as enter) for new lines within a message window.

for those of us that use windows media player and the playlists that come with it. I'm not and will never be an iTunes user and i have had winamp and it is nice for the sole reason of flac support but I have not found a way to get the music list to work as well as the one in WMP.

Add an option for psychic mode similar to what Pidgin and Adium have. Where when someone starts typing to you a chat window pops up even before they actually send a message.

Please ad a option to have separate profiles for each account...

In other clients like Adium and Pidgin to be able to set profiles and status different on each and every account is something that is "essential" for most people running multiple accounts.

There are many people running two or more IM-accounts that is not to be unified...

With the AIM program there is a plug-in that would automatically set my status to away when the computer was locked. It would be nice to get that over here on Digsby.

It would be nice and convenient if we could star gmail messages from the hover over menu already present in digsby's interface.

Similar to how we can mark a message as read- starring one from the interface would add additional functionality quickly.

The away message system that Pidgin uses is really awesome because it saves the last 3 or so away messages that you used. If you find yourself using the same ones over and over but only for a short period of time, this feature will save them for as long as you need them. Plus, it is a pain to go in and manually create the permanent ones.

Would be handy to implement a hide groups function (hide all groups not just the offline/empty ones).

Right-to-left languages (Hebrew, Arabic) should be supported in message dialogs and popups. This includes:

1) Composing a message in RTL form by hitting right Ctrl+Shift (Windows standard behavior).

2) Displaying incoming RTL messages as RTL, according to the Unicode display standard (i.e, if a message starts with an RTL character, it is to be formatted as RTL).

It would be nice to be able to highlight text and right click to add a link, or to click a button on the formatting bar to create a link. This way you don't have to paste what could be a huge URL into the window - you can just make a hyperlink that says "DVD at Amazon" that links to the DVD in question.
